The Book Burrow, an independent book store that has operated at the Pflugerville flea market since August, will relocate March 1 to local wine bar Three Legged Goat, with a grand opening on March 25.
Before the store relocated to the flea market, owner Kelsey Black started The Book Burrow from her garage as an online shop in spring 2021.
The Book Burrow is an inclusive shop that sells new and preloved books online and in-store. Black added she has an inventory of about 20,000 books.
Black said she was already selling books at Three Legged Goat on Friday nights in a pop-up format, and the pairing worked well. She said she eventually entered into negotiations with owner Jim McDonald for a permanent residence at the wine bar.
"We'll get the wall space, and he'll get the table space," Black said. "It's mutually beneficial."
