East Social House, located at 109 East St, Hutto, officially became Lamppost Coffee on May 1.

Owner Lisa Woods opened the shop in August 2019 while also running a photography business. East Social House specialized in fair trade coffee and in-house or locally sourced syrups.

Woods made the transition announcement in a Facebook post April 25, thanking the Hutto community for helping them thrive through the pandemic and the winter storm.

Lamppost Coffee is a Central Texas-based brand with locations in Round Rock, Georgetown, Austin and San Marcos. Menu items include craft coffee such as the sweet Lamba Latte and Espresso Milkshake. The Lamppost Coffee location in Hutto is open from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mon.-Fri. and 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on weekends.
