Northwest Austin resident Sue Trees' rain gauge recorded about 2.5 inches of sleet on top of 2 inches of rain Thursday morning in her Preston Oaks yard. Winter Storm Landon brought freezing rain, ice and sleet to Central Texas on Feb. 3 and caused schools, businesses and government buildings to shut down through Feb. 4.
