Nationwide movie theater chain Regal announced it is resuming screenings at its Northwest Austin location beginning Friday, May 14.
Regal Arbor at Great Hills, located at 9828 Great Hills Trail, Austin, will reopen to moviegoers with screenings of eight films, including “Together Together” and “The Human Factor,” according to a May 12 news release from Regal. The movie theater is further holding two screenings of “Nomadland,” which won best picture at the 2021 Academy Awards.
The company’s reopening plans include a range of safety measures for guests and employees. Regal’s reservation system will now mandate at least two empty seats between groups inside the theaters. Guests will also be required to wear masks at all times while inside Regal Arbor Great Hills and can only remove them while eating and drinking inside the theaters.
