Dell Children’s Medical Center on Dec. 3 began providing pediatric primary care services out of a mobile clinic in a partnership with Texas Women, Infants, and Children. The Dell Children’s Health Express mobile clinic, located at Northwest Austin WIC at 8701 Research Blvd., Austin, will provide appointment-based primary pediatric care for Texas WIC clients.

The Dell Children’s Health Express will operate on-site at the Northwest Austin Texas WIC office on the first Tuesday of every month, according to a Dec. 3 news release.

“This monthly service will ensure that more children have direct access to comprehensive, ongoing health care services,” said Chris Born, president of Dell Children’s Medical Center, in the news release.

Services provided at the Dell Children’s Health Express clinic include immunizations, well-child checks and acute care. The clinic will be staffed with a board-certified pediatricians, a registered nurse, a medical assistant and social work service providers, according to Dell Children’s Medical Center.
