The restaurant filed a permit with the Texas Department of Licensing and Registration to conduct renovations in an existing building located in The Arboretum.
The permit states the “renovation will include significant interior alterations to create an authentic Japanese dining experience.”
Construction on the project started Feb. 3 and is expected to be completed on June 3, according to the TDLR filing.
The background
The business currently has five locations throughout Texas in Austin, Lakeway, Round Rock, Kyle and San Antonio. Its first location opened in South Austin in 2021.
Menus at the restaurant include sushi options, small hot meals, poke, bento boxes, ramen and dessert.
