Tewbeleaux's Cajun Grill opens first Central Texas location in Northwest Austin


The sports bar and grill's menu features a variety of bayou-style Cajun cuisine, including catfish etouffee, jambalaya and shrimp as well as wings, burgers, sandwiches and tacos. Tewbeleaux's also serves a selection of domestic, imported and IPA beers and has happy hour specials Monday-Friday and on Sundays.


Austin EMS Association lays out argument for $27 per hour starting pay

The Austin EMS Association laid out its case for substantially increasing the pay for emergency medics during its third meeting with the city.

The meetings kicked off Nov. 30 and are the first in a series the city will undergo to negotiate contracts with all three of its emergency service branches—the EMS, police and fire departments.

Round Rock ISD superintendent shares letter to staff regarding 'increasingly raucous' meetings

A letter shared with district faculty and staff by Round Rock ISD Superintendent Hafedh Azaiez was made public by Place 4 trustee Cory Vessa via social media Dec. 3.

The letter addressed both the recent fatal shooting at Oxford High School in Michigan as well as the "increasingly raucous" board of trustees meetings, where "passions have run high and frustrations have mounted."
