Simon Property Group will close all of its retail properties across the U.S. at 7 p.m. March 18, according to a release. It includes 21 properties in Texas, and the closure lasts until March 29.

“The health and safety of our shoppers, retailers and employees is of paramount importance and we are taking this step to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities,” said David Simon, chairman, CEO and president of Simon, in the release. The closure includes:

• Barton Creek Square Mall, Austin
• Grapevine Mills, Grapevine
• Houston Premium Outlets, Cypress
• Katy Mills, Katy
• Lakeline Mall, Cedar Park
• Round Rock Premium Outlets, Round Rock
• San Marcos Premium Outlets, San Marcos
• The Domain, Austin
• The Galleria, Houston
