On Jan. 29, a location of East Side King will open near The Arboretum at 10710 Research Blvd., Ste. 328, Austin, in the space occupied by Mama Fu's.

Murphy Adams Restaurant Group, which bought the franchise for East Side King, also owns Mama Fu's and will close that location Jan. 26. Originally founded as a food truck in Austin, East Side King is an Asian-fusion restaurant. The restaurant group will open three other Austin- and San Antonio-area locations in 2020.
