Happy Cat offers short- and long-term stays for cats whose owners need to board their cats while they go on vacation, take a business trip, move, renovate their home or are dealing with an emergency.
The Austin North facility will have 27 individually themed suites ranging from 30-60 square feet with climbing equipment, bedding, toys, fountains, windows, webcams and more; luxury suites will include TVs. The “Kitty Concierge” team also offers daily room service, playtime and enrichment time, plus daily text message, email and picture updates to owners.
“As cat parents we struggled with leaving our animals when traveling,” said Sabrena Henson, Happy Cat Austin North owner. “Even though we have a person who feeds them, we noticed when we returned, our cats were like Velcro; they wanted constant attention. The notion that cats are not social creatures is a fallacy. Happy Cat Hotel & Spa gives cats the simulation, enrichment and safe environment they need to thrive when their parents are unable to be with them."
In addition to overnight stays, the facility will offer spa and grooming services from nail trims to a full groom with a bath and blow-dry.
