With Austin's New Year celebration postponed because of weather conditions, a replacement event has been announced.
Step Into Spring will take place during three weekends in the Mueller neighborhood beginning March 22. Events will include the Mad Tiger Festival, live performances, interactive games and mural-making. Admission to Mad Tiger Festival is free as long as attendees RSVP online and entry to The Thinkery will be by donation only during the Step Into Spring events. Parking will be free in the Mueller neighborhood garage. Many of the performers for the Step Into Spring event were slated to take part in the New Year celebration before it was postponed, according to a news release.
