Because of inclement weather, The Domain's annual holiday tree lighting event is rescheduled for Nov. 23 at 6 p.m. The event was originally scheduled for Nov. 22.

Event activities will now begin Nov. 23 at noon at The Domain II's plaza at the new event lawn. Activities include face painting, holiday entertainment, caricature drawings, balloon animal making and crafts. The Domain II is located between Dick's Sporting Goods and Dillard's.

Live music begins at 6 p.m. in front of Macy's off Esperanza Crossing along with the lighting of the tree, which has more than 6,000 twinkle lights, 400 ornaments and a 5-foot-tall star tree topper. Seating for the tree lighting opens at 5 p.m.

This year live entertainment is provided by local schools and country singer Sunny Sweeney.

The event is free to attend. For more information, visit www.thedomaininaustin.com.
