Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, already with one location on downtown East Sixth Street, is launching its second location in a shopping center that is undergoing revitalization efforts.
The new location will be 11,500 square feet and is scheduled to open in late 2015. The new space will have an in-house bakery, drive-thru coffee bar, 250 outdoor seats, ping-pong tables, outdoor stage, dog park and free parking.
"We are excited to include Easy Tiger among our latest tenants," Allan Davidov, owner of The Linc, said in a statement. "Easy Tiger is exactly the kind of creative, local, best-in-class operator we are targeting for the re-envisioning of The Linc."
The Linc shopping center, formerly known as The Lincoln Village, is located adjacent to Austin Community College's Highland Campus. As part of an effort to revitalize the Highland neighborhood, The Linc is evolving to become an eatery, retail and entertainment district in a pedestrian-friendly environment, according to the shopping center's website.
Easy Tiger is not the only eatery to find a new home at The Linc. Tex-Mex restaurant Vivo reopened Oct. 22 at the shopping center with new ownership after closing its original Manor Road location in March. The new Vivo location has a slightly different menu and will now serve brunch Sundays and Mondays.
