The event will be broadcast live on the city’s Facebook page and begin at approximately 7:40 a.m.
Among the featured presenters will be a joint honor guard made up of members from the New Braunfels Fire Department and the New Braunfels Police Department, who will begin the ceremony to post, raise and lower the American flag to half-staff on the Main Plaza in downtown New Braunfels.
City information states the flag ceremony will be followed by a moment of silence and a performance of "Amazing Grace" by the New Braunfels Firefighters Pipe and Drum Corps.
The ceremony will end with closing words from a New Braunfels Police Department chaplain.
