The overview
The city of New Braunfels will be partnering with multiple local agencies, and city staff will join members of the New Braunfels community in celebration. Groups expected to be in attendance include:
- VFW Post 7110
- American Legion Post 179
- Cadets from the New Braunfels High School and Canyon High School Junior ROTC programs
- Members of the New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee
- New Braunfels Noon Lions Club
- Comal Community Band
“The city of New Braunfels is honored to be a part of this event commemorating those who have died in service to our great country,” former New Braunfels Mayor Rusty Brockman said. “I would encourage all residents to attend this ceremony or to take time out of their long holiday weekend to honor the sacrifices made by the service men and women who have died while in active duty in the United States armed forces.”
