According to Jenny Wilson, owner of 1845 Creative, the marketing firm managing grand opening events for Chuy's, early September is when the restaurant is slated to open.
"We do not have an exact opening date for Chuy's just yet, as the building is still under construction," Wilson told Community Impact.
The Austin-based restaurant chain is known for its fresh, made-from-scratch Tex-Mex dishes, including tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, tres leches and more.
Tommy LaRue, vice president of operations for the new location and a former New Braunfels local, said he was thrilled about the new location.
“We’ve received so many requests to open in New Braunfels and are looking forward to supporting this great community and sharing our fresh take on Tex-Mex,” LaRue said in a press release.
The New Braunfels location will be open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
