This is the first time the brewing company has been open to the public since closing due to COVID-19. Brandi White, the brewing company’s general manager, said it was a “huge relief” opening after being closed. The brewery continued producing and selling beer wholesale during that time.
“We’re so happy to just be back in our groove with everything,” she said. "They [the community] just kind of opened their arms to us and came back in and since Saturday, since our grand opening, we've been pretty busy and everyone coming through to check it out. It just feels really good to have the community supporting us again.”
White described the community support as "overwhelming," but in a good way.
"The feedback that we've got is just phenomenal," White said. "Everybody's very excited about the renovations and the expansion of the beer garden."
White said Faust Brewing Co. had a “great turn out.”
“We probably had 800 people come through,” White said.
Faust Brewing Co. changed its liquor license, and can now serve a variety of mixed drinks. They also added a food trailer that sells American pub fare food items with a German twist, including fries, tacos, smoked wings, burgers and sandwiches.
The tasting room and food trailer’s adjusted hours of operations are 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. daily Monday-Wednesday and 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday-Sunday.
