Faust Brewing Co., located at 499 S. Castell Ave., is reopening for the first time since COVID-19 closed its doors.
General Manager Brandi White said the brewery has been giving the tasting room a “facelift” and has also been working on renovating the beer garden. The tasting room will have new countertops and the beer garden has now doubled in size. The beer garden will also have a venue.
“On April 1st, we’re reopening with the food trailer, the tasting room and the renovated beer garden,” White said.
With the reopening also comes a change in the company’s liquor license. Now, Faust Brewing can serve an array of mixed drinks. The food trailer will sell American pub fare food items with a German twist, including burgers, fries, tacos, spinach artichoke, smoked wings and sandwiches.
White said she is the most excited for the beer garden.
“It’s coming along, and it’s just absolutely gorgeous,” she said. “Besides that, I am really excited to see some of our regular customers find their home again. When we sold the hotel, they were all kind of displaced, and so we are really looking forward to having a place for them to come and feel at home again.”
The tasting room and food trailer’s temporary hours of operation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. daily. 830-609-9086. http://faustbrewing.com/
