National Volunteer Week is April 23-29 This week is National Volunteer Week. To find volunteer opportunities in the area, check out our guide of local non-profit organizations. Eanes ISD board of trustees will again discuss transfer students at Tuesday’s meeting The board of trustees will discuss its current thoughts with administration about the district’s transfer student policy, which was reviewed at the most recent board meeting. The board will also honor the Westlake High School swim team for being state runners-up, as well as state finalist for the school’s wrestling team. Tuesday’s meeting will be held in the S. Don Rogers Administration Building, 601 Camp Craft Road, Austin, at 7 p.m. The meeting agenda can be found on the district’s website. Bee Cave City Council to meet Tuesday night City Council will meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. in City Hall, 4000 Galleria Parkway, Bee Cave. Council is scheduled to discuss annexation and disannexation regarding four tracts of land. Council will also discuss The Hillside at Spanish Oaks subdivision. The meeting agenda can be found on the city’s website. West Lake Hills City Council to convene twice Wednesday City Council will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. to discuss council goals and priorities for the next 12-24 months, according to the meeting’s agenda. Council will then convene for its normal meeting at 7 p.m. and is scheduled to discuss the city’s drainage master plan as well as select a contractor to install traffic calming measures on Laurel Valley Road, Yaupon Valley Road and Redbud Trail. SpringFest is this Saturday at the Hill Country Galleria The 10th annual SpringFest event will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. at the Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Blvd., Bee Cave.
