Individuals in the Lake Travis area now have access to new services from Austin Regional Clinic Bee Cave with the addition of its orthopedic sports and musculoskeletal medicine specialty.

Led by board certified and fellowship-trained Dr. Martha I. Pyron, the new speciality offers treatment to adults and children over age five for the full range of sports medicine services, including nonoperative treatment for acute and overuse injuries, according to a news release. Dr. Pyron has experience with treating athletes of all ages and abilities, including Olympic athletes, the news release states.

The new speciality treatment option became available Aug. 29, according to an ARC Bee Cave spokesperson. In addition to its new speciality, ARC Bee Cave offers family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics.
