The contemporary print exhibition “IMPRINT ATX” will be on display through mid-February at the Contracommon Gallery, showcasing works from 13 Central Texas artists. Jan. 21 and 28 | Catch a blues concert

Pizzeria Sorellina will host the Austin-based blues band Spicewood Blues Connection on Fridays in January. Jan. 21 | Celebrate self-care

Barnes & Noble and The Hive at Bee Cave Arts Foundation will celebrate the launch of “The New Mom Code” by Amanda Tice, an international curve model and Lake Travis mom. Jan. 22 | Explore new horizons

The University of Texas research professor Sean Gulick will hold a lecture in January exploring how a single catastrophic astrogeologic event can change the climate crisis and show how planet habitability is determined. Feb. 12 | Support local law enforcement

The Bee Cave Police Benevolent Foundation will hold its annual Officers Gala at Star Hill Ranch. The Denim & Diamonds event will feature live music, food, whiskey, a live auction, dancing and games. The nonprofit foundation supports Bee Cave’s law enforcement and their families in times of need through financial assistance. 6-10 p.m. Sponsorships start at $2,000 per 10-person table.
