Local garden center It’s About Thyme aims to move in May from 11726 Manchaca Road to a 6-acre site across the street from the Marbridge Foundation’s 2310 Bliss Spillar Road site.
The business, which opened in 1979 and is co-owned by Chris and Diane Winslow, filed in 2015 for its new site plan, including multiple greenhouses and outside growing areas, Chris said.
“It’s going to be all about the plants,” he said of the new space.
The current It’s About Thyme location at Manchaca Road and Frate Barker Road is being sold to a developer, he said.
