Skye Masson was named the new Georgetown city attorney June 9.

Masson is currently the first assistant city attorney. She will replace current City Attorney Charlie McNabb, who announced his resignation effective July 3. McNabb worked for the city since February 2016.

The position of city attorney is one of four that reports directly to Georgetown City Council.
