April features a long list of events for community members to enjoy including the annual Two Step Inn music festival, the 2025 Red Poppy Festival and a mix of car shows. Events are subject to change. This list is not comprehensive.

Two Step Inn

The annual music festival will feature a country music artist lineup including Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Sturgill Simpson, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more. Performances will take place from noon to 10 p.m. across three different stages.

Cams & Coffee: Car Show and Garage Sale

The Georgetown community can spend their Saturday with coffee and food provided by food trucks and admiring cars. Participants are expected to follow event etiquette, including no burnouts, revving, speeding or loud music.


Georgetown Easter Market

Community members can celebrate the Easter holiday with a local vendor market featuring a range of products from handmade Easter gifts and baskets and home decor to baked goods and accessories.

Horror Writing Workshop

Local writer and editor Richard Z. Santos will discuss with and teach participants how to make their ideas for horror writing bigger and scarier.

Pickleball Jam


The Georgetown Project will host the fundraising event in partnership with Georgetown Pickleball Association to raise funds for The Georgetown Project. The day will feature pickleball games, live music and food. The nonprofit helps identify and provide resources for needs for children and youth in the local community.

Blues, Brews and BBQ

Presented by Lott Brothers Construction, attendees can expect an evening full of live music, open bar, local vendors and barbecue. Proceeds from the event will benefit Chasco Family YMCA. Vendor booths are free to set up but are asked to donate 15% of proceeds to the YMCA.

Nature Photography: A Walk In the Park


Event attendees will take photos of scenes which pique their interest and tell a story as well as learn basic photography tips about composition, light and creativity. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome and attendees are encouraged to bring an extra camera battery.

Bets for Pets 2025

The annual event hosted by Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter will support the shelter’s medical fund. Attendees can expect casino games, hors d'oeuvres, drinks, prizes and vintage automobiles.

2025 Red Poppy Festival

The annual festival will feature artisan booths, food courts, live music performances, a parade, a pup parade, a car show, Touch-A-Truck event and a BMX show.


Family Fishing Fun

As part of its Garey Park programs, the city of Georgetown will host the morning event where individuals ages five and up can fish in the community. Equipment, instruction and bait will be provided. Children under age of 12 will need an enrolled parent to participate and ages 17 and up need a valid fishing license.

Heroes of a Hidden Child: One Survivor’s Story of Gratitude

Holocaust survivor Lucy Taus Katz will share her story of being a hidden child. The event will commemorate Yom Hashoah, also known as Holocaust Remembrance Day, and is presented by Congregation Havurah Shalom.
