Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home will host its second annual toy drive Dec. 11 along with a pair of local organizations.

The funeral home, located at 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, will host the toy drive from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers from the funeral home, Georgetown Sunrise Rotary Club and Blue Santa—a program of the Georgetown Police Department—will run the event. The organizations will be accepting unwrapped toys as donations during the allotted time, office manager Paullette Maidlow said.

“Last year, I was amazed by the outpour of our community even with the COVID[-19] limitations,” Maidlow said. “We thought that this would be the safest way to collect them. I will never forget it, and it touched my heart.”
