Georgetown’s 40th annual Christmas Stroll will be held Dec. 3 and Dec. 4 in and around the city’s historic downtown square.

The free event begins Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. and will feature over 200 vendors for shopping, food, activities and live entertainment, with many shops on the square staying open later than normal, according to the Downtown Georgetown Association.

Dec. 3 will also feature Groovin’ with the Grinch, a kid-friendly dance party with a DJ and free kettle corn.

The events on Dec. 4 will begin at 10 a.m. with the Stroll Parade, and photos with Santa will be available from noon-8 p.m. as well as the “Whoville” hair salon for kids.

Both days will feature a live-action Bethlehem Village from Georgetown Church of the Nazarene and live entertainment on two stages to be closed out by the Austin Night’s Blues Band at 6 p.m. Dec. 4. A full lineup of events can be viewed at www.thegeorgetownsquare.com.
