Early voting sites across Williamson County will close at 5 p.m. Feb. 23 due to the threat of icy conditions across Central Texas, according to a release from the county. Polling locations will reopen Feb. 24, no earlier than 10 a.m., as opposed to the scheduled time of 7 a.m.
The last day for early voting for the March 1 primary election is Feb. 25, and Williamson County voters can cast ballots at any voting location in the county. After the first week of early voting, 4% of registered voters in Williamson County had cast ballots.
A full list of early voting locations is available at www.wilco.org/elections as well as Election Day sites. Polls are scheduled to open on election day, March 1, at 7 a.m. and will run until 7 p.m.
