Georgetown ISD will hold graduation ceremonies for its three high schools this week, starting with a ceremony at the Klett Performing Arts Center for Richarte High School seniors May 25 at 7 p.m.

East View High School and Georgetown High School will each have their ceremonies at Birkelbach Field. East View High’s ceremony is May 26 at 8 p.m., and Georgetown High seniors will receive their diplomas May 27 at 8 p.m.

All guests are invited to the attend the ceremonies, which are not ticketed events. If for some reason a ceremony needs to be rescheduled, the district would plan to hold the event at 8 a.m. the following day. The ceremonies will also be livestreamed, which can be watched on the GISD website.

Meanwhile, the last day of school for GISD is May 26.

“I feel confident that our teachers and students are super aware that May 26 is the last day of school, but sometimes the fact that it’s an early-release day sneaks up on our parents,” GISD interim Superintendent Lindsay Harris said.

Prekindergarten and elementary schools will release at 11:55 a.m., middle schools at 12:40 p.m. and high schools at 12:50 p.m.
