  1. Georgetown City Council gives green light to roadway segment that will help connect Hwy. 29, I-35
    At its July 25 meeting, Georgetown City Council approved a $5.6 million construction contract to help build a new segment of a roadway that will eventually connect Hwy. 29 with I-35 near the south edge of the city.

  2. Stellar Bakes and Sip and Stain will open soon in the former location of Sweet Serendipity on the Square
    Stellar Bakes, a custom cookie bakery, and Sip and Stain, a do-it-yourself workshop, are expected to open on the Square in late August or early September.

  3. New housing developments will bring thousands more multifamily units to Georgetown
    Georgetown has seen a surge of new multifamily developments during the past three years, and city planners are managing the growth by preparing to revamp the city’s comprehensive plan in 2018.

  4. Georgetown ISD to purchase nearly 80 acres for new schools
