Correction: The Williamson County and Cities Health District reported five additional cases.

The Williamson County Cities and Health District announced five new positive cases of the coronavirus May 4, bringing the county total to 328, according to its Twitter page.


Currently, 12 patients are hospitalized, and two patients are on a ventilator, per the report. Of the 328 confirmed cases, 191 have recovered.

On May 1, businesses began to open to the public with limited capacity as the “Stay Home Stay Safe” orders were lifted. Williamson County has also increased its testing capabilities, working to open several coronavirus testing sites for those who are symptomatic.

  • Georgetown: 38
  • Hutto: 27
  • Leander: 32
  • Round Rock: 148
  • Other: 33
