Georgetown ISD will extend its closure through April 13 to align with the latest order from the county, the district announced March 26.

On March 24, Williamson County issued a Stay Safe, Stay Home order that asks residents to stay home to the greatest extent possible.

The district stated in its letter to parents that it will continue to provide meals for students and their families through April 13 at three locations. GISD will also continue to have all district facilities closed with nearly all staff working remotely each day, it said.
