The Palomino, a new restaurant located at 305 E. Morrow St., Georgetown, plans to hold a grand opening July 15.
The restaurant, owned by Amber Kurkowski, will be housed in the former location of Bob’s Catfish-N-More. Kurkowski intends to take a portion of the proceeds from the restaurant, which was named in memory of a horse she rescued after Hurricane Harvey, and donate them to local horse rescue organizations. According to Kurkowski, The Palomino will serve pub-style food starting with a menu of burgers and bratwurst.
