Williams Drive businesses are open once again
More than 60 businesses reopened by mid-May after they were forced to temporarily close or relocate due to a weekslong evacuation after a Feb. 20 natural gas pipeline leak near River Bend and Williams drives. Many of the businesses were able to return to their offices and storefronts after six weeks but others, including the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, were closed for more than 90 days.
