Developers expect to break ground on the projects first rental units this summer, Centro Development Associate William Sayers said. The project is located across from Barton Creek Square Mall at the site  of the former Cinemark movie theater. Centro is planning to build 168 condominium homes and 21 townhomes for rent, Sayers said. Another developer anticipates building additional townhome units for sale on the site as well as office buildings, he said. Cypress Real Estate Advisors owns the tract under development, Sayers said. The rental units will consist of one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, he said.
