An Austin business coming up on its 100-year anniversary has rebranded and relocated to start a new chapter.
Miller Imaging & Digital Solutions, formerly Miller Blueprint, underwent the name change to better reflect what services the company offers, said Luci Miller, Miller IDS president and granddaughter of the company's founder.
"I think we've needed to rebrand for a while because a real blueprint hasn't been made in decades," Miller said. "[Miller Blueprint] pigeon holed us into construction and we do more than that."
While the company, founded in 1920, does not employee graphic designers, architects, engineers or construction workers, Miller IDS works closely with each of those fields to provide digital organization or signage.
The new office opened Feb. 23 at 1000 E. Seventh St. after closing its West Sixth Street office the week before. The new location gives the company better access to new developments and proximity to many of the artists with whom Miller works, she said.
