Two sisters have teamed up to open a South Austin grooming shop where men can get pampered.
Owners Kat Lund and CJ Schimmels opened
The Nines Men's Grooming on March 24 at 2104 W. Ben White Blvd. Lund said she and her sister will each draw from their 20-plus years of cutting men's hair and previous experience owning a barber shop.
The sisters offer haircuts, beard shaping, grey blending, straight razor shaves, facials with medical-grade skincare, waxing, hand and foot care as well as a variety of massage types.
Schimmels said they saw a hole in the Austin market and decided to fill it by providing a masculine environment for men to visit for appearance and wellness upkeep.
