Living Spaces, a California-based furniture retailer, will build a massive distribution center in Pflugerville, City Council announced during its Tuesday meeting.

The $40 million Living Spaces distribution center will be located at the southwest corner of SH 45 and North Heatherwilde Boulevard and will be approximately 650,000 square feet in size, according to Pflugerville Mayor Jeff Coleman. The center will be roughly twice the size of the IKEA store at the corner of I-35 and University Boulevard in Round Rock.

The Pflugerville distribution center will be the first Texas location for Living Spaces, which also has storefronts in Arizona, California and Nevada.
