Austin-Bergstrom International Airport set a passenger record in June, breaking its own record for the second time this year.

In June total passenger traffic was 968,545 which is a 6 percent increase from the same month last year, according to statistics provided Aug. 7 by the city of Austin. The previous record of passenger traffic was 942,825, which was just accomplished in March.

The weight of air cargo, meanwhile, decreased 6 percent compared with June 2013.
