Austin-based nonprofit I Live Here I Give Here is encouraging Austinites to donate locally Nov. 30 for Giving Tuesday, a worldwide campaign to help local organizations.

For the fifth year, I Live Here I Give Here will be the community leader for the Central Texas area.

Individuals can donate to any of dozens of participating local nonprofits at AmplifyATX.org. Organizations include The Austin Center for Grief & Loss, Family Eldercare, AGE of Central Texas and others.

Gift cards redeemable as donations to any of the participating organizations can be purchased here.

I Live Here I Give Here has a goal of raising $100 million in cumulative donations through 2021, according to a press release.



Over the last four years, I Live Here I Give Here has raised over $17 million for local causes, according to its website.

I Live Here I Give Here is also encouraging the community to participate in the Acts of Generosity Social Media Challenge by volunteering or performing acts of generosity and sharing the acts on social media with the hashtags #ILiveHereIGiveHere and #GivingTuesday. According to its website, more than 31 million acts of generosity have been performed in the last four years as part of the campaign.

Donors can also contribute to the I Live Here I Give Here Amplify Fund, which benefits more than 700 participating organizations ahead of Amplify Austin Day on March 2-3.

Since 2013, ILHIGH has raised over $11 million for the Amplify Fund, according to the press release.
