North Austin pet store Phydeaux and Friends Pet Provisions announced that it would close Jan. 2 in a Dec. 29 Facebook post.

The post stated that the pandemic forced the business to close and thanked customers for their support.

“We appreciate you all so incredibly much,” the post read. “You truly are part of a family that we will never forget. Each of you and each of your pets.”

The pet store offered products for cats, dogs, chickens and other animals, according to its website. It was located at 7816 Burnet Road Austin. www.pandfpet.shop
