Austin ISD announced school closures for Feb. 3-4 due to a winter storm warning and potentially icy road conditions. All after-school care and activities Feb. 2 are also canceled.

The National Weather Service is predicting freezing temperatures and potentially icy road conditions starting the morning of Feb. 3.

The district’s COVID-19 testing and vaccination sites will also be closed Feb. 3-4.

AISD schools will not need to make up these two days if the school board passes a resolution at an upcoming meeting.
