What’s on the menu?
The new location serves breakfast tacos—including one with eggs, bacon and potato wrapped in a pancake with a side of maple syrup—street-style tacos including carne asada and al pastor, and several vegetarian options. The restaurant also serves agua frescas and the “Me Latte” with cold brew and horchata.
Meet the owners
One Taco is co-owned by Tony Avila and Axel Beverido, who describe the food at One Taco as “authentic but better.”
Quote of note: “When I heard about a spot next to Little Woodrow’s Burnet Road, I had a flashback of the whole process when we started with the food truck at Little Woodrow’s W. 6th St. 14 years ago,” Beverido said in a news release. “I know from experience that our appetizers and tacos go extremely well with a beer; that’s why I said that has to be our next store.”
