April 12-16 | Fusebox Festival


The annual festival features film, music, performance art, visual art, culinary creations and public art projects and takes place in various venues and locations in Austin. Fusebox, a nonprofit, promotes adventurous and experimental works of art throughout various disciplines. Times vary. Free.

April 14-16 | Austin Reggae Fest

April 15 | ASH Dash 5K Bunny Run


The 13th annual event benefiting the patients of Austin State Hospital allows participants to race, run or walk for mental health. The course in Hyde Park is a fast and flat double-loop on tree-shaded grounds. An Easter egg hunt immediately follows the race for all participants. 8-10 a.m. $20 (age 12 and younger), $35 (adults). April 17 | Pint glasses go on sale for Barks for Beers fundraiser


The annual fundraiser for Austin nonprofit Divine Canines returns May 1-May 31. The organization, which aims to provide therapy to people with special needs by forming bonds with dogs, has partnered with more than two dozen breweries that will serve one free pint of beer to anyone with a Barks for Beer pint glass.
