Ride-share company Lyft issued its annual "Lyftie" awards on Wednesday, Dec. 6. The awards are issued based on the company's rider data, and they recognize the top destinations for food, drinks and more in dozens of cities across the country.

Austin's Lyftie recipients include Torchy's Tacos, which won "Most Visited Restaurant," and Cheer Up Charlies, the "Most Visited Bar" winner.

The most visited event space in Austin, per Lyft's rider base, was Alamo Drafthouse, and the "Trending Destination" winner was Native Hostel Bar and Kitchen.

"The Lyfties represent the unique cultures of over 32 cities across the U.S. and show that Lyft riders intrinsically love local," Lyft Austin General Manager Aaron Fox said in a Dec. 6 news release.
