Here's what you need to know to start your week in Central Austin:

1. Give input on Seaholm parkland and buildings

This Saturday, the Austin Parks Foundation and The Trail Foundation will start to look at what can be done with the Seaholm Waterfront, which includes the Seaholm Intake facility and its surrounding parkland. The study area spans between the Pfluger Bridge and Shoal Creek and from the lake's edge to Cesar Chavez Street. The public input meeting takes place from 9-11 a.m. at the Seahold Intake Structure, Pfluger Bridge, Butler Park and Vic Mathias Auditorium Shores.

2. South Austin restaurant reopens with new name

Juliet Ristorante reopens today as Juliet Italian Kitchen with a new classic Italian-American menu. The Barton Springs Road restaurant was redesigned by Design Hound and is launching a new Jazz series, which kicks off July 5.

3. City Council amends juvenile curfew policy

Children in Austin age 18 and younger will be held to a curfew that makes it illegal to be on the streets between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. However, they will only receive a citation for a Class D misdemeanor if previously issued two warnings. This curfew extension will last until Oct. 1, when a stakeholder workgroup, commissioned by council, is scheduled to recommend alternative approaches to curfew laws.

4. Local business owners react to Amazon purchasing Whole Foods

What does Amazon's purchase of Whole Foods mean for the Austin business owners whose products sit on its shelves? They weighed in following Friday morning's announcement.

5. Shoal Creek Trail planning begins

The first in a series of public meetings regarding the future Shoal Creek Trail will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Cirrus Logic. The public is invited to give input on what they'd like the trail to look like. The new trail, once complete, will span more than 10 miles and link areas such as The Domain and The University of Texas.
