Both online and in-person classes at the University of Texas are still canceled, and the campus will remain closed Feb. 4 due to ongoing weather conditions.

Normal campus operations will resume Feb. 5.

The University of Texas has canceled both online and in-person classes, and closed campus Feb. 3 due to inclement weather conditions. COVID-19 testing and vaccinations will be canceled as well.



The National Weather Service has predicted freezing temperatures as well as freezing rain, which can be worse than snow, for the Austin area. The city of Austin is encouraging residents to prepare for severe weather conditions.

The campus closure will begin at midnight Feb. 3. UT officials will provide an update for Feb. 4 campus operation plans on Feb. 3.
