Austin City Limits Music Festival officials announced around 10 a.m. on Oct. 1 that the festival's start would be delayed until 3 p.m. due to poor weather.

The gates were originally supposed to open at noon, but overnight rain necessitated the delay.

Several area forecasts call for additional rain throughout the weekend.
