Blue Corn Harvest aims to open its Leander restaurant in mid-April. The restaurant is hiring front-of-house and back-of-house positions, and applications and position details can be found online. The restaurant will be at 11840 Hero Way W., Bldg. A, Leander, which is the former Cherry Creek Catfish building. The restaurant will add an outdoor seating area this summer.

Balloons by Jolie, a party supply store, opened March 29 at 200 Buttercup Creek Blvd., Ste. 114, Cedar Park. The store specializes in balloons but also sells same-day decorations, garlands and bouquets.

Budaful Foods, a food truck and catering company that specializes in pub food including burgers, charred brats, sliders, fried pickles and brat bites, has taken over the kitchen menu at Willie’s Joint, located at 824 Main St., Buda, as of March 15.
