Scheels
The employee-owned sporting goods store is now open in the CedarView development in north Cedar Park. In addition to shopping, visitors to Scheels can ride a 65-foot indoor Ferris wheel, view roughly 600 fish in a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium, and visit a candy shop and a cafe.
Dribble Soccer
The indoor soccer facility is open to all skill levels and hosts both recreational and competitive adult leagues. Dribble Soccer also offers “coach-led homeschool programs” and skill clinics, a statement from the business said.
VIP Furbabies
Pet daycare and boarding service VIP Furbabies is now open in Cedar Park, owner Jeff Brubaker said. The locally-owned business offers daycare, boarding and spa services for cats and dogs, according to its website. VIP Furbabies prioritizes being “safe, clean, loving and genuinely fun,” the website says.
Westlake Dermatology
The new clinic will offer comprehensive medical and aesthetic dermatology care in the Leander Union development along Crystal Falls Parkway. As of late July, appointments are available for booking at the Leander clinic.

Urban Bird Hot Chicken
The restaurant specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken, including tenders, sandwiches, loaded fries and chicken-and-waffles dishes. Customers can choose from multiple spice levels.
Chewy Vet Care
Chewy, an online pet supply retailer, opened its first veterinary clinics in 2024. The clinics offer routine medical appointments and urgent care for cats and dogs.

Mike’s Red Tacos
The San Diego-based Birria taco chain is set to open its first Texas location, according to a TDLR filing. Construction to finish out the restaurant space is expected to begin in November.
Paris Baguette
A Cedar Park location of the South Korean bakery-cafe chain is in the works, according to a TDLR filing. Paris Baguette serves pastries, breads, cakes, coffee and more.

The collectibles store will open a new location at Lakeline Mall, according to a TDLR filing. The company is “dedicated to bringing premium Asian products and culture to the U.S. market,” according to its website.

Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe
A Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe location will be located inside NFM, formerly known as Nebraska Furniture Mart, according to a TDLR filing. It will be the first Central Texas location for Pickleman’s, which serves a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, mac and cheese bowls and pizzas.

Scoop & Score Ice Cream and Coffee Parlor
Scoop & Score is celebrating its tenth anniversary. The ice cream and coffee shop was built around a partnership with Cincinnati legacy ice cream brand Graeter’s, which traces its roots back to 1870 and is available at only a handful of non-Graeter’s locations across the nation. The shop also features locally sourced coffee from Cuvee Coffee.

RELOCATIONS
Judith K Bridal
Speakeasy-themed, off-the-rack wedding boutique Judith K Bridal has relocated to a new space in Cedar Park, general manager Kelley Smith said. The boutique moved from a 600-square-foot studio in Lakeway to a 1,300-square-foot space in Cedar Park, Smith said. The space has been completely renovated to serve bridal boutique customers, including a built-in dressing area, modern and moody chandelier lighting, new countertops, flooring and paint, and 1920s-themed art and decor, she added.
Bonbon Badminton & Tennis
A cornerstone of the badminton community in Williamson County has moved from Liberty Hill to a larger location in Cedar Park. The business offers a variety of equipment, racket stringing and personalized customer service for both badminton and tennis players.
