Holiday Inn Express & Suites opened a Northwest Austin/Four Points location June 1. The Hotel offers 82 rooms, a swimming pool, free parking, a business center and daily breakfast.


Members of the West Austin and Cedar Park chambers of commerce welcomed the hotel into the community with a ribbon cutting Sept. 8.

Co-owner Riyaz Bhaiwala, who has been a member of the West Austin chamber since planning for the hotel began, said the community and other businesses have been very welcoming.


“Business has definitely been good,” he said. “It has taken some time to let people know that we’re here, but the community has been very complimentary of our facility. People are excited to have a lodging option that is close to their home or business.”


What’s next


Bhaiwala said he will continue informing the community about the hotel’s services in 2017. He said he looks forward to serving the area for gatherings, meetings and lodging.
